The complex of buildings on Łazienkowska Street in Warsaw includes the Church of Our Lady of Jerusalem and the monastery buildings of the Monastic Communities of Jerusalem (a Catholic order founded in 1975 in France). The complex, sometimes called “Warsaw’s Malbork” due to its medieval castle-like style, was built in the 1970s and 1980s on the site of the ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa, destroyed during the war (1933). The project for the church’s reconstruction and postmodern expansion was designed by Tomasz Turczynowicz, Anna Bielecka, and Piotr Walkowiak. Address: Łazienkowska Street 14, Warsaw.
