This project became an iconic turn-of-the-century office building in Poland and set the standard for Class A buildings. Built between 1998 and 2001, the Focus building was designed by Kuryłowicz & Associates near Pole Mokotowskie. The designers envisioned it as a city-building, where the entrance is a city gate, the courtyard is a market square, the four-story winter garden is a park, and the four independent sections of the building represent districts. The entire project is crowned by an apiary, established on its roof in 2016. In 2001, the building won three prestigious awards: Construction of the Year, the SARP Award of the Year, and the SARP Grand Prize – Polish Cement in Architecture. Address: al. Armii Ludowej 26, Warsaw.
