Krakow, Krakow Opera

The building complex was built between 2004 and 2008, designed by Romuald Loegler. The lowest building, with a semicircular roof and an entrance to the opera house, is a former horse riding school from the early 20th century. The building has two stages: a large stage with an auditorium for 764 people and a smaller stage for 180. It is considered an example of Krakow’s postmodern architecture. In 2009, it was named the worst building in Krakow in the Archi-Szopa poll.
