2025-02-04
The Greek Catholic, postmodernist church in Biały Bór was built between 1992 and 1997, designed by painter Jerzy Nowosielski, who collaborated with architect Bogdan Kotarba. In 2019, the church—the youngest Polish building—was added to the West Pomeranian Voivodeship’s list of historical monuments. After World War II, a large group of Ukrainians resettled from southeastern Poland as part of Operation Vistula arrived in Biały Bór. In addition to the Greek Catholic church, the town also houses a Ukrainian primary school and a high school. Approximately 500 Greek Catholics live there. Address: Biały Bór, Księdza Bazyligo Hrynyk Street 4.
