A hotel in Bolesławiec modeled after the Luxor Pyramid in Las Vegas. The pyramid itself was built between 2000 and 2005, designed by Jacek Kałkus and two architecture students from the Vienna University of Technology. It was built using the so-called “economic method” with the involvement of investors – the Żekieć and Silldorff families. Between 2020 and 2024, it was expanded to include a section connected by a passageway, adding additional hotel rooms. In addition to accommodations, the complex includes several dining rooms, a wedding hall, and a conference room. The pyramid in Bolesławiec is controversial – in 2020, it was ranked fifth in the architectural “Anti-Guide to Poland” by noizz.pl. However, after 20 years, it has become one of the city’s most recognizable and intriguing attractions. Address: Masarska 15, Bolesławiec.
