Katowice, PKO BP branch at Damrota Street
2026-02-04
Huge blue glass windows, aluminium, stone cladding, irregularly scattered bay windows – the PKO BP building is a prime example of lavish Polish corporate postmodernism from the 1990s. Built between 1993 and 1996 by Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego Śląsk, it was the headquarters not only of the bank’s branch, but also of its Regional Computing Centre in Katowice. The architectural design of the building was created by Aleksander Czora and Wojciech Podleski. Address: 23 Konstantego Damrota Street, Katowice.
