This Łódź housing estate, built between 1984 and 1992 on the site of the former village of Radogoszcz, features a spatial layout reminiscent of traditional urban planning. At the center of the estate is Plac Słoneczny (Sunny Square), a market square surrounded by arcades housing services and shops. The buildings form internal courtyards with playgrounds, greenery, and recreation areas. The architecture of the buildings features postmodern features, including bay windows, red roofs, attics, and colorful elements. The architects behind the estate’s concept and the individual buildings were Zdzisław Lipski, Jakub Wujek, and Andrzej Owczarek.
