The first luxury apartment complex built in Poznań after the 1989 revolution. Equipped with a swimming pool, sauna, and resident gym, it was built in 1999-2000 by the development company Echo Investment, based on a design by Jerzy Gurawski and Przemysław Cieślak (ARPA studio). Neomodernist in style, it bucked the trend towards postmodernism in Poznań’s residential architecture (the Batorego and TBS housing estates in Winogrady were under construction). A distinctive feature of the building is its undulating, horizontal façade, winding like a ribbon, reflecting the proximity of the Warta River. In 2000, the Warta Ribbon received the prestigious Platynowe Wiertło (Platynowe Drill) award in a national competition for architects and construction companies organized by Bosch, and the Construction of the Year title in a competition organized by the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians. Address: Mostowa 19, Poznań.
