Despite all the ecological, aesthetic, and social sins committed by this mountain of stone and concrete, Stobnica Castle is a stunning investment fantasy. It rises 70 meters, stretches 200 meters, and boasts 15 double-height stories. It is one of the artificial islands on a lake created from deepened and widened ponds. Formally, it is a residential building (under construction since 2015) designed to house 97 people in 46 apartments. It already has its own legal and political history – arrests, indictments, overturned decisions, appeals, and the resignation of the voivode. The castle was designed by Poznań architect Waldemar Szeszuła, and the investor is the family company of brothers Dymitr and Tymoteusz Nowak, D.J.T.
