One of Stefan Kuryłowicz’s first architectural designs (1985). The church, co-designed by Jakub Wacławek, was built over a period of 15 years, from 1985 (consecration of the construction site) to 2000 (consecration). It is the parish church of the Wierzbno housing estate, run by the Franciscan order. The interior of the church, including the stained glass windows, was designed by Jerzy Skąpski. An example of early Polish postmodernist sacred architecture, an interesting feature of which is the ‘unfinished’ main portal of the temple. Address: 98A Modzelewskiego Street, Wierzbno, Warsaw.
