A postmodern commercial and service complex in Białołęka, built between 1999 and 2002 on the initiative of Danuta Piontek, the ‘first lady of Polish business’ in the 1990s. Designed by Ludomir Słupeczański, architect of many residential projects for the property development company J.W. Construction (including its headquarters in Ząbki). According to Piontek, it was inspired by the commercial architecture of San Francisco and the London area. In 2007, the company managing the complex, Centrum Biznesowe Fort, went bankrupt. The property and the land were taken over by a receiver, who sold it and was later arrested by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) for underestimating the value of the complex by over PLN 20 million and cooperating with the so-called real estate gang. In 2022, the case went to court and is awaiting consideration. Meanwhile, in July 2025, Fort was put up for auction with a starting price of PLN 50 million. Address: Modlinskia 310/312, Warsaw Białołęka.
