Wrocław, Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace
2026-02-04
A postmodern church in Wrocław’s Popowice neighborhood, built between 1982 and 1994. Designed by Wojciech Jarząbek, Wacław Hryniewicz, and Jan Matkowski, the building, intended by its designers to “reflect the thousand-year history of the church in Poland,” variously paraphrases Baroque (interior), Gothic, and Romanesque (portal). Wojciech Jarząbek considers it his finest architectural design. Address: Ojców Oblatów Street 1, Wrocław.
